Our Mission
Our mission is to:
- Lead the intellectual life in public health for Washington University.
- Mobilize the University’s strengths in the allied health professions, architecture, business, education, engineering, law, medicine, the social sciences, and social work to address significant public health problems in new and more effective ways.
- Organize Washington University public health research initiatives that bridge basic science to population health applications.
- Coordinate the University’s educational programs in public health.
- Eliminate health disparities and improve measurable health outcomes through sustained community and organizational partnerships.
- Significantly influence the development of sound public health policy.
