Undergraduate Minor in Public Health
Washington University offers an undergraduate minor in Public Health through the Arts & Sciences Department of Anthropology. This interdisciplinary minor permits students to study health-related issues at both the population and community level. Three foundational core courses provide a common language and methodology for understanding the key issues and controversies in public health, while elective courses permit exposure to a variety of disciplinary perspectives which contribute to public health practice and problem-solving. Students completing the Public Health Minor will be well-positioned to pursue graduate-level study in public health, medicine, law, social work, or other professional disciplines.
