Susan B. Racette, PhD

Dr. Racette’s public health-related research includes collaborative projects with the Saint Louis Public Schools and the City of St. Louis Department of Health. The “AIM for Fitness” program is designed to increase physical activity and fitness of elementary school students through an enhanced physical education curriculum. Her team is also exploring environmental contributors to obesity among urban public school children through a developmental research project conducted in collaboration with the Saint Louis Public Schools and the City of St. Louis Department of Health.

Dr. Racette is also a member of the City of St. Louis Department of Health’s Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Partnership, and a long-standing member of the Saint Louis Public School District’s Health and Wellness Committee.
