A major study, partially supported by the Institute for Public Health, details long-term effects of COVID-19 among those who have survived the virus.
The study’s senior author is Assistant Professor of Medicine, Ziyad Al-Aly, MD, an Institute faculty scholar and the director of the Clinical Epidemiology Center. He is also chief of the Research and Education Service at the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System.
