Join us for a talk from Nancy Schoenberg, PhD, of the University of Kentucky. This event is part of the Center for Health Economics & Policy’s Seminar Series, which invites leaders in the field of health economics and policy to speak on a variety of relevant and timely topics.

About the speaker

Nancy Schoenberg, PhD

Marion Pearsall Professor; Associate Dean for Research College of Public Health; Director of Center for Health Equity Transformation
University of Kentucky

Dr. Schoenberg’s research involves addressing health inequities, particularly among rural residents and other underserved populations, using community-based participatory research strategies and intervention trials. A medical anthropologist and gerontologist by background, Dr. Schoenberg and her academic and community partners focus on prevention and control of diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and other chronic conditions.
