Join us for Community-Academic Partnership Spotlight, a webinar which will highlight three community-academic research partnerships from across Missouri. During this webinar, each partnership will explore how they started working together, applied for and received funding for partnership development and/or community-engaged research projects, and how they have leveraged that funding to further support their collaborative research agendas and organizational goals. Panelists will share their lessons learned and tips for partnering successfully for meaningful community research. The webinar will end with an opportunity for audience Q&A.
Attendees will:
- Hear from funded community-academic partnerships about their work
- Learn about successes and lessons learned from diverse types of partnerships at various levels of working together
- Identify funding opportunities available to emerging community-academic partnerships
- Understand how to leverage partnership development and seed funding to expand engaged research and/or move organizational goals forward
This webinar is presented by the Center for Community Health Partnership & Research at the Institute for Public Health and Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences. Our center’s lectures are designed to introduce researchers and community members to the principles and practice of community-engaged research.
