“Sport for Development” is an approach to health promotion that also has objectives regarding violence prevention and gender equity. This conversation explores themes of progress, tensions, and contradictions in sport for development interventions that address inequalities in Africa. We will reflect on the practices and relationships within local and international sport for development. This program is part of Washington University’s Africa Speaks series, presented in partnership with The Africa Initiative.
