Center for Health Economics & Policy offers new tool to help researchers

Written by Kim Furlow, communications manager for the Institute for Public Health

The Center for Health Economics and Policy (CHEP) is helping Washington University researchers get policy-focused research circulated to a broader audience through policy briefs.

The center’s newly-created Policy Brief Toolkit is designed to help researchers translate research findings into policy briefs, which can be circulated to a broader audience than that of academic journals.

“There is a great deal of policy-relevant work going on at WashU,” says CHEP Co-director Karen Joynt Maddox, MD. “Making this work more accessible to a broader audience will maximize its impact.”

Previously published briefs can be found on the policy briefs page of the CHEP website. For questions or assistance in creating a policy brief, please contact the CHEP team.
