22857246This is the first of two talks from Dr. Damon Tweedy, assistant professor of psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center & Durham VA Medical Center, and the author of Black Man in a White Coat: A Doctor’s Reflections on Race and Medicine.

He will speak about his experiences as an African American medical student and physician, and health disparities facing African Americans in the US.
