About the speaker

Daniel R. Wildcat, PhD

Dr. Wildcat is founder of the Indigenous Peoples Climate Change Working Group and a Yuchi member of the Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma. Additionally, he is an Indigenous & American Indian Studies faculty member at Haskell Indian Nations University and the author and editor of several books, including his most recent book, Red Alert: Saving the Planet with Indigenous Knowledge.
