CHEPAR: A Discussion of BJH and BJWCH Finance Data and Opportunities for Research Collaboration

The Center for Health Economics and Policy holds meetings of the Collaborative of Health Economics and Policy Analysis Researchers, or CHEPAR, every 6-8 weeks. The purpose of the group is to facilitate research in the areas of health economics and policy by Washington University investigators. These meetings are open to Washington University faculty, staff, students and external collaborators.

Our March meeting will feature the presentation, A Discussion of BJH and BJWCH Finance Data and Opportunities for Research Collaboration, by Matthew Mihm, Finance Manager at BJH & BJWCH, and Paul Irovic, Executive Director of Finance & Planning at BJH & BJWCH.

In addition to the featured presentation this CHEPAR meeting will include:

  • 15-minute spots for attendees to present research in various stages of development, in order to receive feedback from Washington University faculty such as Center Co-Directors Tim McBride, PhD, and Bill Peck, MD; Faculty Lead for Data and Methods Abby Barker, PhD; Faculty Affiliates Derek Brown, PhD, and Karen Joynt Maddox, MD, as well as others in attendance
  • Updates on available technical assistance through the Center for Health Economics and Policy (CHEP)
  • Updates on funding opportunities, available datasets and toolkits, and more
