CHEPAR Meeting

The Center for Health Economics and Policy holds meetings of the Collaborative of Health Economics and Policy Analysis Researchers, or CHEPAR, every 6-8 weeks. The purpose of the group is to facilitate research in the areas of health economics and policy by Washington University investigators. These meetings are open to Washington University faculty, staff, students and external collaborators.

This meeting will include:

  • A featured presentation on current health economics and policy research
  • 15-minute spots for attendees to present research in various stages of development, in order to receive feedback from Washington University faculty such as Center Co-Directors Tim McBride, PhD, and Karen Joynt Maddox, MD, MPH; Faculty Lead for Data and Methods Abby Barker, PhD; Faculty Affiliate Derek Brown, PhD, as well as others in attendance.
  • Updates on available technical assistance through the Center for Health Economics and Policy (CHEP)
  • Updates on funding opportunities, available datasets and toolkits, and more
