Please join us for the second annual Edward and Elizabeth Lawlor Lecture in Health and Social Services at the Brown School featuring Harold Pollack, PhD, Helen Ross Professor of Social Service Administration and Public Health Sciences at The University of Chicago. Dr. Pollack will present Emergency System Responses to Individuals At-Risk of Behavior Crises: Opportunities for Proactive Intervention.
Part of the vision of the lecture series is to bring together social work, public health, and policy, in research and education. Dr. Pollock’s book, Making Americans Healthier: Social and Economic Policy as Health Policy, demonstrates there is important action at this intersection, particularly for improving health outcomes and social opportunity.
A reception will follow in Goldfarb Commons.
