Join us for the US launch of the documentary DAY ONE that follows immigrant and refugee children through their transitions into the St. Louis region.
This film was awarded at the Newport Film Festival in April 2018.
2:00pm DAY ONE documentary viewing
3:30-3:45pm A panel of teachers, staff and administrators will discuss their trauma informed work with the children.
3:45- 4:15pm Students who are chronicled in the film will be available to share their progress and successes since the film was completed.
4:15- 5:00pm Presentation on the impact of ACE scores, toxic stress and health impacts
5:00- 6:00pm Global Cafe- meet and greet, posters and refreshments
6:00pm Dinner on Your Own (a restaurant guide will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the event)
