Speed networking for community health

The Institute for Public Health’s Center for Community Health Partnership and Research hosted a speed networking for community health event on June 17. The event drew participants from diverse organizations working with residents of St. Louis city and county and Illinois. The 18 organizations included those addressing clinical healthcare needs, general health and wellness, and healthcare and public health workforce enhancement.

All in attendance said the event was very helpful for making new, and fostering deeper, connections. On average, participants note they would likely follow up with nine of the people with whom they interacted.
