Your Next Move: The When, Why and What of the New Retirement

The Your Next Move program encourages participants to re-imagine life in retirement to achieve maximum well-being.

This event is part one of a two-part series focusing on transitioning into retirement. The When, Why and What of the New Retirement will center on the critical components — purpose, leisure, social, health and wellness and financial — of retirement. Learn about part two of the series.

Chris Frey, MSW, ACSW, LCSW, a counselor and an educator with 35 years of experience, will guide participants through an interactive self-reflective session about the “New Retirement” and the importance of planning for this transition, especially in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This event geared toward WashU employees, employers and professionals serving older workers as well as those already in retirement. Sessions will take place virtually through the Brown School of Social Work’s Open Classroom series.
