The percentage of people without health insurance dropped significantly over the 2019-2023 period, reflecting major changes to the health policy landscape (the Medicaid expansion, enacted in 2021) and the economy, as well as the recent pandemic.  Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy & Economics Research co-director Timothy McBride reviews recent data from the Census Bureau in research supported by Missouri Foundation for Health.
