Brent J. Williams, PhD
Raymond R. Tucker Distinguished InCEES Career Development Associate Professor, School of Engineering & Applied Science; Director, Washington University Climate Change Program
- Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Dr. Williams’ research group studies air quality issues ranging from outdoor pollutant emissions to exposures in indoor environments. They develop new analytical techniques and deploy these tools on field studies and in controlled laboratory studies to better determine specific pollution sources (for example: solid fuel combustion, food cooking, vehicle emissions, tobacco and e-cigs, etc.) by tracking chemical markers. Additionally, they work to improve understanding of how gases and particles in the atmosphere impact global and regional climate. Dr. Williams’ teaching focuses on atmospheric science and climate change at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
