Enyo Ablordeppey’s research centers on behavioral and systems adaptations necessary to improve health outcomes in critically ill patients. She is focused on the effects of ultrasound diagnostics on clinical outcomes, including perceptions and utilization of bedside ultrasound in critical care environments, its effect on patient safety and hospital resources. Her goal is to improve care for critically ill patients through the appropriate use of evidenced-based innovations and hospital resources in order to avoid medical over utilization. Ablordeppey’s research identifies and modifies implementation and de-implementation strategies for an ultrasound-guided catheter confirmation protocol in order to change current clinical practice.
