Jana Casteel, MHSA

Research Administrator, Global Health Center

Jana Casteel is a research administrator with over 23 years of experience supporting health care research. Prior to joining WashU, she worked at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (St. Jude). While at UAMS, she supported a statewide initiative to provide comprehensive care to the elder population through the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging, basic and clinical research for the Myeloma Institute, and health policy with the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement. She managed the grant portfolio for the Oncology Department during her time at St. Jude.

Jana holds a master of health services administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a bachelor of science in community health education from the University of Central Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to tropical places, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks.  Woo Pig!
