Victoria V. Anwuri, MPH

Associate Director, Institute for Public Health

In her role at the institute, Victoria is responsible for advancing the strategic plan and programs of the institute working closely with the institute’s overarching leadership and the leaders of its centers and flagship initiatives. She oversees all research, programmatic, administrative and operational activities.

Victoria has over 20 years of experience in public health and community health directing research, programmatic, administrative and financial efforts across complex systems. She is skilled in partnering with stakeholders from different disciplines in order to achieve successful outcomes. She has managed large multidisciplinary evaluation projects funded through private and foundation funding as well as large-scale, federal and state grants and contracts.

Ms. Anwuri holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice (formerly Saint Louis University School of Public Health) and a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College where she studied psychology.
