Alex T. Ramsey, PhD

Dr. Ramsey is an organizational psychologist with a focus on the underutilization of effective treatments for tobacco, alcohol, and other substance use disorders. Dr. Ramsey conducts research on the use of technology (mHealth tools, clinical decision supports) to facilitate the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based interventions to treat and prevent substance use disorders. He has extended this research agenda into the field of genomic medicine, using implementation science to integrate genomic discoveries into clinical care and community settings.
