Dr. Wong’s research focuses on patient-centered care to improve mental health, cognition, and participation among vulnerable populations, especially those with stroke and other neurological conditions as they transition to community living.

His research seeks to (1) develop precise outcome assessments through the application of mobile health technologies and modern psychometric theories; (2) develop technology-enabled behavioral interventions to maximize engagement, personalization and health management; and (3) understand psychosocial and bio-behavioral mechanisms associated with functional independence and community participation.
