Dr. Berg’s main focus is community-based teaching and learning for occupational therapy students. Her research interests include participation in children and youth who are at developmental risk or have chronic conditions, transitioning to adult roles, and self-management. Her clinical interests are in providing capacity-building services to community agency staff who seek help with an identified need around health, wellbeing, social and environmental challenges and population participation in meaningful activities.
