Professor of Biostatistics, School of Medicine

Dr. Rao’s overall research interest is the genetic dissection of common complex traits, including GxE interactions in cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and their co-morbidities. He is currently the principal investigator of several research projects, and is involved with a number of training and mentoring grants and activities.
