Dr. Clifford is interested in supporting training of medical professionals in Ethiopia. He is doing this by developing exchange programs for teaching and learning between a newer medical school in Mekelle, Ethiopia and at the Ayder Hospital. Trainees and staff from Washington University, St. Louis School of Pharmacy and University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Nursing (so far) are participating in the learning/training program seeking to enhance development of medical professionals in Ethiopia.
