Dr. Vollman serves on the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Health Policy Committee and participates in national discussions about reimbursement and the Academy’s clinical data registry (IRIS). He is interested in improving information for clinicians about surgical outcomes in ophthalmology especially pertaining to stewardship of healthcare dollars. He has been involved in projects focusing on cost-effectiveness, administrative data, and prospective clinical outcomes.
