Professor of Sociology, Director of Undergraduate Studies, Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, & Equity, Arts and Sciences

Dr. Lee has a broad background in sociology and demography, with specific training and expertise in race/ethnicity, health disparities, social determinants of health, family processes and inequality, and adolescence and the transition to adulthood. Her research focuses on the social contexts that characterize the lives of vulnerable and minority populations and how this relates to health and the production of health disparities. A large proportion of her research is based on nationally representative data sets.
