Dr. Margenthaler’s clinical and research interests are devoted to the care of patients with breast diseases and breast cancer. Specific areas of interest include disparities in cancer outcomes, treatment of high risk patients, young women with breast cancer, and the design and implementation of optical imaging devices for the early detection of breast cancer.
