Leonard Green, PhD

Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences, and of Economics, Arts & Sciences

Professor Green’s research focuses on issues and models of self-control and impulsivity. He examines the discounting of delayed and probabilistic outcomes, choice and decision-making. He also conducts a practicum on autism and applied behavior analysis. Populations that he studies include women with eating disorders, children with autism, alcoholics and substance abusers. In 2022, Professor Green was honored with the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award.
