Dr. Klesges earned her PhD in behavioral epidemiology from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health and has since served as a principal investigator or co-investigator on more than 40 research projects supported by NIH, national philanthropic and local agencies. Her research, resulting in more than 100 publications, has looked at prevention of childhood obesity, evidence-based health behavior change, and translational research methods in cancer prevention and control.
