Matthew W. Kreuter, PhD, MPH

Kahn Family Professor of Public Health and Senior Scientist, Health Communication Research Laboratory, Brown School

Dr. Kreuter’s research focuses on using novel, but practical, approached to eliminate health disparities, primarily by connecting low-income and minority individuals to needed health and social services. Through many community-based studies, he has gained a rich understating of the lives of low-income Americans, the often challenging social and environmental contexts that shape their decisions and actions, and effective ways to reach and engage them around health matters.
