Dr. Pergadia’s research focuses on factors associated with the use of tobacco products, particularly nicotine withdrawal and related conditions such as major depression. She integrates various methods and disciplines to improve the understanding of smoking behavior, including epidemiology, genetics, human laboratory, and animal models.
