Dr. Biswas is the Chairman of the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering and the Director of the McDonnell Academy Global Energy & Environment Partnership (MAGEEP) at Washington University. He has played a leading role at the national and international arena in the field of aerosol science and technology by serving on several national committees. His public health interests include aerosol science and engineering, particulate control, prevention of infectious disease transmission, the global dimension of environmental health, and technology-based interventions.
