Assistant Professor, Electrical and Systems Engineering, School of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Dr. Feinstein’s current work involves mathematically and computationally modeling the transmission of HIV in the St. Louis region. This modeling is to be utilized in studying the impacts of different treatment plans with a focus on cost analysis. His interests lie, more generally in the mathematical modeling of infectious diseases for studying optimal treatment methods for a societal objective.
