Today the Institute for Public Health and its Global Health Center welcome the students participating in the 2015 Summer Research Programs, PHASE and SPRINGH. The Public Health Advanced Summer Education (PHASE) program was created with support from a Diversity and Inclusion Grant from the Office of the Provost, and the Summer Program for Research in Global Health (SPRINGH) is offered with support from the Departments of Medicine, Molecular Microbiology, and Pathology and Immunology.
The competitive programs offer students the opportunity to work closely with outstanding faculty mentors on special research projects focused on public health and global health. There will be a series of seminars offered throughout June and July, as well as a culminating symposium for both PHASE and SPRINGH, all of which will be open to the public (details below; RSVP requested).
