Dr. Bucholz’s research interests are focused on the development, persistence, and remission of substance use and disorders in general population, family and twin samples, and on racial/ethnic and gender differences in the course of SUDs. She is also interested in parental influences, particularly maternal, on offspring psychotherapy and psychosocial outcomes.
