D&I Pilot and Small Grant Funding

The Center for Dissemination and Implementation is no longer accepting applications for pilot grants for the 2023 cycle. Applications for small grants will be accepted through April 3.

The center offers two seed funding opportunities, a Pilot Projects Program and a Small Grants Program. These are designed to support a broad range of dissemination and implementation studies, and aim to support the development of projects to the point at which they’re ready to compete for external funding.

Pilot grants

Pilot grants fund up to $40,000 in direct costs for one year. Applicants must be Faculty Scholars of the Institute for Public Health.

We are open to all dissemination and implementation science submissions, however we will prioritize funding for proposals that address sexually transmitted infections/HIV, COVID-19, or antimicrobial stewardship – the three research focus areas for our center’s Infectious Disease – Dissemination and Implementation Science Initiative.

If approved, we will invite you to submit a full application, which is due April 3, 2023. These will be reviewed by a peer review panel. Recipients will be notified in June of 2023.

Small grants

Applicants may request up to $7,500 for up to one year for development of a D&I research proposal to be submitted for extramural funding. Applicants must be Faculty Scholars of the Institute for Public Health. To apply, please submit the small grants worksheet, budget sheet, and form listed below by April 3, 2023.
