Eve R. Colson, MD

In terms of health equity research, Eve Colson has had consecutive years of funding from the NIH to conduct studies to better understand and change health-related behaviors that impact infant mortality and health equity. She serves as co-principal investigator on three NIH-funded projects, and co-Investigator on one, all of which utilize her expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research as well as program evaluation and curriculum development. Her research is published in many high-impact journals.

Amid her education research career, Colson has received external foundation funding to design, implement and evaluate an inter-professional education curriculum and a grant to examine disparities and inequities in clerkship grading during medical school.
