George Hoganson is interested in improving the clinical care, health and well-being of individuals, families, and vulnerable populations, both locally and internationally through collaboration, innovation, and service.

He has experience implementing collaborative, multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional research projects, and quality improvement initiatives across a variety of settings and disciplines, including pediatrics, emergency medicine, critical care, trauma, global health, infectious disease, neurology, palliative care, and medical education. He is director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research Associates’ Program, a program that offers Washington University undergraduate students, an opportunity to gain exposure to clinical medicine, research methodology, and participate in clinical patient-oriented research projects at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
