Jessica K. Levy, MPH, PhD
Associate Professor of the Practice, Brown School
Professor Levy’s main area of interest is on the relationship between gender equality and global reproductive health and family planning (RH/FP). Through research and program evaluation, she investigates how to best measure and operationalize the ways in which gender dynamics serve as either barriers to or facilitators of RH/FP outcomes and vice versa. By identifying more precisely the mechanisms by which gender-based interventions work and under what circumstances, she hopes to guide future investments in development programming and policy; thereby, accelerating and amplifying the positive impacts of global RH/FP interventions.
