Eliza Williamson is a cultural medical anthropologist whose research focuses on reproduction, disability, and healthcare in Brazil. She is preparing a book manuscript based on her longitudinal ethnographic research with families raising children diagnosed with congenital Zika syndrome in Bahia, Brazil, and another on humanized birth policy implementation in Bahia.
