Nicholas Davidson is interested in how genetic information about health risk is communicated and implemented into community and global practice. Both colorectal cancer and hepatocellular cancer exhibit strong associations to environmental influences (poverty, obesity) and both are associated with genetic risk factors. Davison works to understand how genetic risk factors are communicated to affected individuals and to family members in order to improve risk mitigation.
