Professor Chakrabarty leads the Complex Aerosol Systems Research Laboratory and his group researches the environmental determinants of infectious disease transmission and effectiveness of non-pharmaceutical containment strategies. Over the years, his research group has made technical contributions to aerosol science and technology, which have had a broader effect on the research areas of climate change, governmental policy change and others.
