Stephanie L. Mazzucca, PhD

Research Assistant Professor, Prevention Research Center, Brown School

Dr. Mazzucca’s career has involved optimizing organizational and home settings to prevent chronic diseases (e.g., cancer, obesity, diabetes), especially among young children aged birth to five years. She has developed evidence-based interventions that promote healthy nutrition and physical activity and most recently broadened her focus to add dissemination and implementation science methods and interventions. She also serves as a consultant for Washington University’s Dissemination and Implementation Research Core providing methodological expertise (e.g., study designs, outcome measures) to a diverse set of investigators.
