June 24, 2022
10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Taylor Avenue Building, 600 S Taylor Ave., St Louis, Missouri 63110

Join the Center for Community Health Partnership & Research for the final event in a four-part series of Collaborative Café discussions on health equity and research. Panelists share key takeaways about equity- focused or disparity-focused research.

Policy and healthcare experts will discuss the implications of equity on healthcare policy, delivery, and access, including:

  • Current focus areas and gaps in equity work in policy and healthcare
  • Why equity-focused research design and data is important to good policy making, service delivery, and more
  • Ways to turn data into equity-centered policy recommendations and digestible, actionable information
  • How research teams can work collaboratively with community to disseminate data and work toward systemic changes

The Collaborative for Community-Centered Conversations — “Collaborative Café” — is hosted by the Center for Community Health Partnership & Research at the Institute for Public Health and Institute of Clinical & Translational Sciences. Collaborative Café offers opportunities for researchers and community partners to network, share experiences, and learn from each other.
