Faculty Scholars’ project receives Gates Foundation grant for lymphatic filariasis elimination in Indonesia


Two Institute for Public Health Faculty Scholars, Peter Fischer, PhD and Gary J. Weil, MD, who manage the Death to Onchocerciasis Project & Lymphatic Filariasis (DOLF) Project, announce that their team and partners at the University of Indonesia and Bruyere Research Institute, have been awarded a $1.8 million grant to support a new study to address why lymphatic filariasis has returned to the region.
